We have two rooms at the club that are available for hire by members or non members. (Members are able to book either room at a discounted rate.)
Our larger function room is The ‘Clubroom’ and is suitable for wedding receptions, parties, functions, funeral receptions, meetings or larger conferences. There is free parking on site for function hirers and their guests.
The Clubroom holds approximately 120-140 people and overlooks the main cricket pitch, local parish church and Denne Hill.
There is a private bar area, sitting area and a dance floor. Hirers have use of the tables and chairs and are free to arrange the room layout however they wish. The room is ideal for small or large functions and is suitable for functions with a disco or live music.
There is a partition so the room can be divided into two separate areas if desired. There is a stair lift for disabled access and also a disabled toilet on the same level as the function room.
We also have a smaller room (The ‘New Gallery’) upstairs which is suitable for small meetings and functions. Maximum 60 standing – please note access is via steep stairs and there is no disabled access.

We are happy to accommodate bookings at short notice including funeral receptions – we offer a special ‘funeral tea’ menu similar to a traditional cricket tea if catering is required (or choose from one of the regular buffet menus) – but please do ring the club office to discuss your requirements, arrange to visit or check availability – 01403 254628

We can offer a catering service for all conferences, meetings, wedding receptions, birthday parties, christenings, funeral receptions and other events.This includes morning and afternoon refreshments, lunch and evening buffets and sit down meals. We cater for all dietary requirements including halal, gluten free and any other needs.

Please note that it is a prerequisite of all bookings that any catering requirements are discussed with the office prior to booking.
You are welcome to decorate the room however you wish (see the booking form for any restrictions).

Just a brief email to thank you and the Sports Club staff for helping to make the reception after my mother’s funeral last Thursday go so well. The room and setting were perfect – just right for the occasion – and all the guests commented how delicious the funeral tea was. The bar staff were very helpful and attentive.

The party was a great success and the club were very helpful from the start from the admin staff helping with the booking and the disco to the very friendly bar staff on the night and the help we had setting up the party.

The party all went very smoothly. We have had lots of good feedback about what a good party it was and what a great venue it is. People loved the fact that they could make the most of the summer’s evening outside (unfortunately, this meant the DJ was playing to an empty room for about two hours!) We only wish we could have partied on longer, but that is always the sign of a good night!
Particular thanks to Lucy who helped me set up on the Saturday morning. I thought I would be in a bit of a panic on the day but it was all very calm, easy and seamless.

Thank you for all the help and support I experienced from all your staff when I had my 40th birthday on the 11th June.
I had a truly fantastic time aided by all of the staff who were always helpful, friendly and kind throughout all my queries, setting up and the party itself.
The food was absolutely delicious with many thanks to Lauren for the great catering and all the bar staff for their help.
So many of my friends said they had a fantastic time and I know all the kids loved being able to go off and run around the pitch.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to the staff working on Saturday evening for our daughter and fiances engagement party. The venue was a perfect location to celebrate, the Sportsclub could not of been more flexible with our arrangements, including our hog roast and the decoration of the room. It looked lovely, wish we had taken photographs of the completed room for your website. The bar staff working on the evening are a real credit to you, they were efficient and friendly. We would also like to especially thank James who went above and beyond to help when one group of guests had a problem with their taxi at the end of the evening. I just wanted to drop you a line to give you a huge pat on the back for last night’s ‘Mainly Madness’ event. I went along with a couple of neighbours and we had a fabulous night. The whole thing was really well organised with plenty of staff, no queues at the bar, good security presence and excellent musicians. Thank you! You may well have started something here and I really think that with the right calibre of bands you could become known as a quality music venue. We would like to thank Horsham Cricket Club for allowing us to use their venue for our first “Live Band” charity evening featuring local band The Mindsweepers. The event was a huge success and the venue and facilities were just perfect, plenty of room for the band to play and for the feet to dance.
