Bar update 22nd July

Here it is..
The news you have been waiting for..
The great unlocking..
Which has actually proved to be as big as an anti-climax as the final episode of Call of Duty or England’s Euro 20 Campaign.

We look forward to the relaxing of the Social distancing regulations, but we are still very aware that infections are rising and to go with them so is the dreaded “ping”.
So, whilst it is now each individual’s choice, we are still encouraging customers to wear a mask indoors and to continue to use our track and trace options.

Likewise, the only main difference to our Bar service is that you can now come to the bar to be served.
We do also intend to table serve when staffing/demand allows, as those regulars amongst you will bear testament, our Table runners (as indeed have all the bar staff) have been an invaluable asset to the club this summer.
Please keep an eye on the signs around the place as to which bars are open as we will need to juggle this to help with the different day to day demands of the club, members, sports and functions.
The default setting will be a queueing system in the members bar like last summer.
Please move away from the bar once served and respect other customers space whilst waiting.
Please continue to follow the safety rules in the garden, controlling your dependants, no ball games, only food and drink purchased from the club, and taking a plastic glass when consuming outside the fenced area.

On a more positive note, as long as U-turn Johnson does not throw anything else into the mixer, we can start our entertainment packages back up in the Late Summer/Autumn and headlines can be found below (details and ticket info to follow).
We also look forward to welcoming back to start Jazz Club (Nice!), The Quiz and our Networking Group in September.
