You don’t have to be a member to enjoy the bar facilities, book a private function at the club or attend a club event however our members are able to enjoy special rates for drinks and room hire as well as priority booking and discounted tickets for events. So, whether you want to just come for a drink, watch some cricket, attend one of our music events or hire one of our two function rooms, the club is open to everyone.

Set in the heart of the beautiful West Sussex countryside, Horsham Sports Club has been at this magnificent location since 1851. The clubhouse and picturesque ground overlook Denne Hill yet are only a five minute walk from the town centre. Membership of Horsham Sports Club is great value for money and offers access to the clubhouse facilities as well as club events. We currently have over 1000 members in the Social section or one of the four constituent sports clubs – Cricket, Hockey, Squash and Tennis.

Events at the Club include the annual Horsham Fireworks Night, the ‘Big Gig’ music festival, and our Caribbean Day, as well as monthly Jazz evenings with the 16 piece Fred Woods Big Band; regular Quizzes, Band Nights and Comedy Nights, plus many social and fundraising events run by the sports sections.

Large well stocked bar with Free wi-fi, Sky TV and BT Sport.

Food at HSC – hot beverages and hot and cold food is available from Sophie’s Kitchen Sussex. They also cater for club functions.

A large function room (The Clubroom) with bar available for private or corporate hire (plus optional catering available).

A smaller upstairs Gallery Room suitable for meetings or small gatherings.

Sports Facilities include

9 tennis courts (5 hard with flood lighting and 4 grass).

3 squash courts.

2 cricket pitches, plus outdoor grass and artificial nets.

The Bar at HSC

Chris Shambrook (aka Shaka) is bar manager at HSC and he and his team welcome members and non-members. Our well stocked bar includes ales from local brewery Firebird Brewing Co. together with guest ales such as Timothy Taylors and Fullers.

Membership

Horsham Cricket Club is a thriving club with 3 Men’s Saturday XIs, Sunday Development XI, Women’s XI, Thursday XI and a Junior Section for boys and girls from U6 to U16.

Horsham Hockey Club is one of the top hockey clubs in the South. There are 6 Ladies and 6 Men’s sides, including ‘Development’ and ‘Vets’ teams. There is also a thriving junior section with over two hundred members, from the age of six upwards. Read More

Horsham Squash Club has three championship glass backed courts with viewing areas. The club runs an adult league, has a men’s team, and holds club tournaments twice a year. Individual and group coaching is available for both adults and juniors. Read More

Horsham Lawn Tennis Club offers tennis for all standards from social and family play to competitive league. There are five all weather hard courts available until 10pm each day. Members (over 18) of the sports sections are automatically social members of the main club as part of their sports membership.

Single membership is currently £50 per year for new members, and £40 for renewals. We also offer an additional card for £10 for another adult living at same address. (This gives all the benefits of the single social membership but is not a voting category.)

Regular evening club events – members and non members welcome

1st Wed in the month – Jazz Night with the Fred Woods Big Band. Music starts at 8pm. free to members, visitors welcome £2 entrance fee.

2nd Wed in the month – Quiz Night. 8pm start. £2 per person, maximum 6 per team. This event is very popular and booking is advised to avoid disappointment. To book email admin@horshamsportsclub.com or telephone 01403 254628.

Annual events

The club hosts a number of events during the year including our annual Horsham Fireworks Night on the last Saturday in October, the ‘Big Gig’ Music Festival in June, a Caribbean Day in September and other small events including Comedy Nights, Live Music and special Cricket events.
