Junior cricket 2026 season

Age Groups
Horsham Cricket Club runs age group teams from U6 – U16 for girls and boys.
Players are required to become members of the junior section of the cricket club and to pay an annual subscription which covers training sessions and is payable at the beginning of the season. Players cannot play in matches unless they have paid their subscription.
Players who were in our U16 age group last year and are now over 16 years of age, will still be considered as junior members until they reach the age of 18 even if they only play in senior teams.
Juniors who wish to play in senior matches should let their age group managers know so that they can liaise with the relevant adult captains
Subscriptions
U6-U9’s – £80 per year. To include any matches and club t shirt for U6-U8’s
U10-U16 – £140 per year – to include all age group outdoor training (not cricket camps or indoor training) and all junior matches. Any juniors playing senior cricket will not pay a match fee for their first 3 senior games and thereafter will pay match fees @£6/game to a maximum of £60.
U17-U21 – £140 per year – to include all training and all senior match fees (there are unlikely to be any junior fixtures for these age groups)
Kit
Players in the U6-U8 Thursday group will be provided with a t-shirt to wear to training as part of their membership.
All players from U9’s – to adult will be required to wear the current training kit to training sessions and the current match shirt in matches.
Our navy match shirts must be ordered directly from the club please email memberships@horshamsportsclub.com. All other kit can be ordered directly from our supplier HERE.
Outdoor training will start from Monday 20th April with other age groups following on from that date on the relevant night. The U6-U8 training starts on Thursday 7th May.
Please do not come along on spec to outdoor training unless we have already asked you to bring your child along – our numbers are currently high in some age groups and we already have children on a waiting list. We are obliged to restrict numbers at training in each group to comply with Health and Safety and Clubmark coaching guidelines. Please email memberships@horshamsportsclub.com if you are unsure.

Friday U11-U15 mixed age group training from 6pm-7.30pm
Leagues and competitions entered by HCC Juniors
Teams will be entered into the Central Sussex Junior Youth Cricket League and the ECB National Competitions at U13 & U15 and Vitality Girls U13, U15 and U19 T20 Cup.
Teams will also be entered into the Sussex Junior Festival competition which takes place in the late summer.
