GET EXCITED HORSHAM... we're having a Music Festival!


Horsham Sports Club is proud to host our very own one-day live music festival, The Big Gig: Horsham Tribute Music Festival, this summer on Sat 24th June 2017.


Some of the best musicians in the area are coming together to provide a fun packed day of top class live music, festival activities, street food, beer and dancing!

We have 5 great bands lined up for you, playing music that you know covering the likes of Oasis, Blur, Phil Collins, Stevie Wonder, Take That, James Brown, ABBA and much more!

Featuring local favourites the Blunter Brothers, No Jacket Required and JOE90.

Bring a gazebo if you have one and set up your own festival space for friends and family to help get the festival atmosphere going.

Children under 10 are FREE as we think it's important for all to appreciate the joy of live music.

Picnics are welcome, but you're likely to be led astray by the delectable array of street food stalls available throughout the day, but please no alcohol to be brought in as we provide beer tents and a fully licensed bar.

Extra parking is available too.

CHILDREN UNDER 10 ARE FREE. (So we can register numbers, if you are purchasing your tickets online, please order each child a FREE ticket, or if purchasing direct with the office, please specify the number of children you are bringing. If your child is over 10 years old, you will need to purchase a standard price ticket – thank you).

Do we need to order a ticket for our children who are under 10 years of age?

Yes – there is a special Eventbrite ticket for U10s – you will not be charged for this. If you buy tickets from the club office or bar then we will make a note of your name and the number of U10s you are bringing to the event

Can I buy tickets over the phone?

No, but if you don't want to buy them online then you can purchase them in person from the club itself. (Day/evening or weekends)

Will we be able to purchase tickets on the gate?

That depends if there are any tickets available. If there are, they will be sold at the main ticket entrance for cash only.

Can my tickets be refunded if I am unable to attend on the day?

Tickets are non-refundable and non-returnable but if you find you are unable to attend you can pass your ticket onto a friend or relative.

What time do the gates open?

The gates open at 2pm

Where is Horsham Sports Club?

We are located in Cricketfield Road, Horsham RH12 1TE – just a 5 minute walk from the town centre.

Is there parking at the festival and will I need to pay for it?

A limited amount of parking will be available in the Barrackfield next to the club. There will a small charge for this. We will allocate spaces as near to the event itself for disabled parking but please bear in mind that the event and parking is all on grass.

Will there be wheelchair access / disabled facilities?

We will try to make the festival as accessible as possible to those with special needs. An area of the car park will be designated as a disabled parking area for people with blue badges and will be available on a first come basis. This is a short distance across grass to the main arena. There are disabled toilet facilities in the arena and also a disabled WC in the HSC Clubhouse. If you have particular needs, get in touch with us in advance. We'll do our best to help.

Can I get to the club on public transport?

The rail station is a 25 minute walk from the club, alternatively there is a public bus (no 98) which you can take from the rail station to the end of Cricketfield Road – the club is a 2 minute walk from here. The bus station is in the town centre and a few minutes' walk from the club. For a map of the location click here (add link)

Can I bring a picnic?

Yes, but we will have a range of food stalls to suit everyone tastes so why not treat yourselves! Disposable BBQs or other stoves are NOT permitted.

Can I bring alcohol into the festival?

Sorry, NO alcohol can be brought into the grounds. Only water or soft drinks will be allowed. Please note that no glass is permitted to be brought onto the ground. There is a beer tent at the festival and the main club bar will be open all day/eve

What else will there be at the festival?

There will be a small fair rides suitable for children plus face painting

Will there be any covered areas if it rains?

This is an open air music festival and nothing is under cover. In the unlikely event of rain please bring your sou'westers and wellies

Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately dogs are not allowed, with the exception of registered assistance/guide dogs.

Will I be able to re-enter the festival if I leave during the day?

Ticket holders will be issued with a wrist band on arrival and they will need to show this if they wish to leave and re-enter the site at any time.

Will there be seating?

There is no seating provided as the festival is mainly standing, but you may bring your own folding chairs and rugs if you wish.

Can we bring a sun tent/gazebo to the festival?

Yes (as long as it is not windy on the day.) It will need to be sited at the edge of the viewing area so that no one's view of the bands is obscured. If all the space is taken then you may not be allowed to put your tent up. You can leave it overnight if you take it down before you go home and collect it the following day but we take no responsibility for it.

What if the event is cancelled?

In the extremely unlikely situation that we need to cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control we will be unable to give any refunds.

What if one of the bands drops out at the last minute?

We reserve the right to alter any of the published acts if necessary, but will make every effort to replace them with a similar style act.
