Bar update w/b 19th April 2021

Opening hours also weather dependent!!

Latest updates HERE

Wow what a week, we opened up on Monday in snow and by Sunday afternoon were bathed in Mediterranean esq sunshine.
Thank you to all that have supported us this week and plan to visit soon.
I’ll keep this week’s bulletin brief after last week’s “Tome” ..(look it up, I had to)*

Table Serving Outside has inevitably brought very different challenges than our team are used to.
We are trying our best to rise to the challenge, learning, improving and adapting to the new Norm as we go.
We have several new staff, who, No, don’t know who you are, and that you may have been a member since before the railway line went past, whilst some of the old ones are a bit rusty too.
So, I ask that everyone who is planning a visit is patient with us and is forewarned that naturally waiting times for your food and drink will be longer than you are used to.

Feedback from those that have attended so far is fabulous all but the very few grasping the Covid regulations set out in my last mail.

I urge Members to pay heed to our elite booking system. We were at full capacity all weekend and expect to be so going forward, so booking, to guarantee a seat is vital. If you are not a member and would like to join us please visit the membership page here for more details
Our Office Ladies are still on Flexi Furlough so may not reply immediately but will get back to you.

Hopefully our Bar ordering Website will be operational by the weekend too after a few teething problems.

This week’s operating hours have been updated slightly, as have La Creperie’s, who continue to complement our outside bar service with their new spring food offerings:

Operating hours w/c 19 April 2021:

Bar: Mon-Thurs: 12pm-9pm, Fri – Sat: 11am-9.30pm, Sun: 11am-8pm

La Creperie: Tues-Thurs: 9am-8pm, Fri – Sat: 9am-8.30pm, Sun: 9am-7pm

Please note that until 17th May ECB regulations specify that no spectators are currently allowed at cricket matches

It only four weeks until the regulations relax a little, so let’s pull together to make them as enjoyable and successful as this week.

Your ever happy Bar Manager

Shaka
